Cold calling business whether walk in or phone is quite a good strategy used by many. Just dont be overbearing and sell your business like a powerpoint demo, make it short and sweet, to the point basically. Have a professional look to yourself and advertising material. Sure it may be cheap to create your own business cards, though they look like **** unless you own a pro print press/digital setup.

Good suggestions. Thank you. I think alot of my success so far with little advertising lays in the fact that I greatly respect others and understand that people not proficient in computers are typically very proficient in other matters. So, I dont ever talk down to them. I also have a great respect for those older than me because they have been thru alot more than I have - and Iam yet to experience it because of age.

You know what they say, "God gave us 2 ears and only one mouth. Theres logic in that - "Listen twice as much as you talk and you will do fine".

I started a design account at 48hourlogo and sucked up the approx 90 bucks. I would have prefered to do this myself but its going to take too long to accomplish and the results would probably be pretty dismal. Ok, So Im quite eager to see what turns up! I have some big plans coming into focus here and I need to get ready!!
