Jimbo, I'm basically bundling it with GFI (with or without their AV). If they've got MBAM Pro installed, I will monitor their scans on top of all the other stuff. I've yet to have a problem with it (their AV updating is another story)

While it catches more bad guys than some AVs (I'm looking at you, ClamWin), it's not an antivirus so I pitch it as a complement to an AV. I'm even considering changing the plan so that if they've got the GFI monitoring and their AV (Vipre)+MBAM, I'll cover a virus removal for free.

You say you make a good profit on Kaspersky? If you don't mind me asking, where are you purchasing your licenses? Also, are the licenses just for the AV alone or is it the Internet Security suite?

As far as Malwarebytes, I try to get every customer that leaves my shop to purchase it by explaining the differences between viruses and malware and the fact that the license is good for the life of the computer. The explanation and pricing of the product usually does the selling. I've had very few customers leave my shop without purchasing it. Even selling it at the same price a customer can purchase it online for ($24.95), I still make a pretty good profit (I pay $15.00/license). As a matter of fact, I have just recently started purchasing the boxed retail product and as long as I order at least 10 boxes (licenses) they ship for free. My reason for going with the boxed version is that customers can simply purchase it themselves and I don't have to worry about printing them a key in the event they have to do an N&P later on.

On the other hand, it's a little harder to sell any of the AVs due to the initial pricing and the fact they have to renew it every 1-3 years. However, my solution to get them to purchase an AV is to combine it with Malwarebytes and give them a 6 month guarantee that if they get a virus or any kind of malware, I will clean the system for free, which includes backing their data up and performing an N&P if necessary.

I used to have venders that I went through, but their prices and shipping time suck for the most part. Anyways, I mostly sell the Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 3 user 1 year licenses for $60 (same price as any store) and I purchase them for around $20 - $30.

On top of that, I sell packaged services and protections plans. If you want more info, you can PM me.

I purchase KIS 2012 one year licenses (boxed) from Amazon. I paid less than $17 per license on my last purchase. I make over 100% profit after markup at that price.

I just bought 8 boxes (not just keys) for $97 which includes shipping through DirectCanada.com. That's $12.20/box. I looked into going directly through dSolution (MBAM's official distributor) but they wanted ~$16 per key (not box). Bwhahahaa!
Reselling at MSRP of $29 so $16.80 profit.

I can put VIPRE on their system for $1/mo. If they do the monthly bundle ($10), I'll give it to them for $3/mo or, separately, for $5/mo. So, prepaid for a year, that's $60 or $48 profit. Not too shabby.

I'm advertising virus removal for£45 so I want a software solution that I can just install and take off or leave on their computer - legally. That's why I liked malwarebytes tech version, you took it off afterwards and didn't have to charge extra for software for the customer.
Solutions?

Honestly, although I do use Newegg frequently, I try to order all of my software and computer parts from distributors when I can. It kind of makes me shy away from sellers on Amazon and Ebay when I see them selling a product for less than half of what I can get it through a software manufacturer's distributor. Take for example: If I purchase KIS 2012 3 PC Edition, it will cost me $63.61 through D&H, $64.99 through Newegg, $70.99 through TigerDirect and $17.99 through Amazon. It makes me really wonder how the seller on Amazon can sell their product at such a steep discount versus the other Distributors I mentioned. If anyone on here has a clue please let me know and I'll be more than happy to go for the $17.99 purchase from now on. This kind of stuff happens on eBay all the time as well.

I am not sure if you looked at the link that I sent you, but this software is actually sold by Amazon, not just some random seller. Look at the reviews, it has almost 300 reviews from plenty of other happy buyers. That said, I used to get this same software from a reputable distributor for around $30 plus shipping, when I started using Amazon, sometimes I would pay around the same, some times less, but the shipping with the prime account is free 2 day shipping or $4 one day shipping. Anyways, I have been using Amazon to by my software for quite a while now and I have not had any issues. Also, the price will not always be as low as it is now, it will jump up to around $27 or $30, so take advantage of the deal when it gets as low as $20.
