Onsite Computer Technicians will love this one; How many times have you had to reinstall a clients Windows OS onsite? How many times has that client only had a 56k modem to download the Windows updates?. If you answer is more than once then this free program is for you.
AutoPatcher is a downloadable installer with all the Windows updates prepackaged which you can burn to a CD before going onsite. When AutoPatcher is run on the clients computer it automates the Windows Update process by finding which Windows updates needs to be installed and installs them for you, without the need to go online.
Best of all, the makers of AutoPatcher release update packages every month so you can easily keep it to date to install the latest Windows patches. AutoPatcher currently has a Windows 2000 version, a Windows XP version and a Windows 2003 version of its program.
If you are a Computer Techie that goes onsite, this is a must have.
Download at the Official AutoPatcher Site – Scroll down to the bottom of this page to see the difference between the Full, Lite and Update Versions.

Great idea and a huge time saver!
what about language in patches ?
Currently I have a lot of computers in spanish, this tool can help me ?
mumble, mumble!
a good way to insert trojan horse!
i work with pensioners lots of pent2 pent 3 like to run xp without all the bells & whistles.
yes it does support different language packs
Hmm, while i recommend this method to install patches on a pre existing install. The best way to integrate all the latest patches and extra addons to your xp install disk is via RyanVM’s Update pack, which can be found here: http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/ ; using the update pack and the RVM Integrator, you can integrate all the patches very easily into your unattended install disk without having to worry about lengthy post install processes !
Wow what a great tool … Nice one
On Tuesday, November 27th, 2007 at 9:33 pm, your site recommended “Offline Update” and here you’re recommending “Autopatch”.
What gives? Which is better?
The Offline Update recommendation was much much later in the year. Autopatcher got shut down by Microsoft and Offline Update became the alternative/replacement.
