Bryce Whitty here from Technibble.com, and in this video I want to share with you a quote that describes the essence of effective managed services marketing.
This quote is from the book “The Personal MBA” by Josh Kaufman. It’s a bit of a mouthful but it says:
“The essence of effective marketing is discovering what people already want, then presenting your offer in a way that intersects with that pre-existing desire. Your job as a marketer isn’t to convince people to want what you’re offering: it’s to help your prospects convince themselves that what you’re offering will help them to get what they really want.”
What this means is you need to insert yourself in your prospects shoes and try and figure out what they find desirable, then market your services to align with that.
It also says that:
“The best marketing is similar to Education-Based Selling: it shows the prospect how the offer will help them achieve what they desire most.”
It then goes on to talk about core human drives such as the “Drive to Acquire” and the “Drive to Defend”.
This is something that Technibble’s White-Label Content does for our customers. We offer content that you can send to your prospects and clients which works as education-based selling.
The content targets your prospects “drive to acquire” by talking about things like new technologies that will make their business work better. As well as their “drive to defend” talking about various threats to their computer networks and how you can protect them.
If you need some help with putting out consistent, quality content, head over to Technibble.com and click the Products link.
I hope this insight helps.
