Hi All

I have a facebook promotion advertising virus removal and pc cleaning which is getting a lot of attention, likes, shares, and clicks to my promotion landing page. Having said that.... I cannot close a sale. No one has called me. The facebook promotion is obviously working but the webpage is not closing the sale. Can anyone offer up some suggestions?

Edit:No longer applicable. Thanks for the feedback.

Do you have a list of email addresses, from your current clients?. do you take email addresses, and add them to your database for newsletters etc?

I've ran a similar campaign through the month of April, though this was with my newsletter members. I have had 6 people take advantage of it.

I ran a SSD Upgrade and clone earlier in the year on facebook. This gained me a couple of calls, and from memory, 8-9 jobs, but a lot and I mean a lot of likes.. But from all over the country, and world. Though likes mean nothing.

All I can see from your page, is part of a sales funnel. I would add a contact us form at the bottom of the page. Personally I would remove CCleaner Pro from the promotion, and just have the BD AV.

A couple general observations I noticed when arriving on your page, and then some suggestions to fix:

1. The page is a bit confusing too wordy.
2. The phone number is hard to find.
3. There's no apparent call-to-action.

Suggestions to make it better:

1. Choose one thing for a promotion, either virus removal OR computer cleaning. Offering both muddies the water and may confuse visitors.
2. Include a form. If people are browsing Facebook on a desktop or tablet, they would prefer to stay in whatever medium they are on, instead of switching over to a phone. It will be much easier to get people to take action on a form that's right there on the landing page.
3. Make the call to action obvious, almost painfully obvious. If it's your phone number, make the number HUGE, like the biggest thing on the page, and in a color that stands out from the rest of the page. If it's a form, make the submit button HUGE with arrows pointing to it, etc. It may seem obnoxious to do so, but it's been proven to work.

Here are a couple articles that may help:

This is exactly the type of feedback I was hoping to receive, thanks!

If you plan on doing these types of promotions regularly, I would look into a landing page service like Lead Pages or Unbounce. With those, you can spin up an effective landing page quickly and test between different formats to see what works best for your visitors.

Thanks. Is there a specific reason you would take out the CCleaner? Also, I think my funnel is doing a poor job funneling so a better call to action makes sense.

As a consumer this is what I see:

Choose your service only $99
Bitdefender CCleaner Pro
*then I scroll down*
One year worry free PC $99
*Bitdefender CCleaner pictures*

And I think you're just selling software

Yes I was wondering if potential customers would think the same.

the nice price for me was $69. Just only do only virus removal and that's it. I would also do a "buy now get it done later" type deal, def collect names. :)

You're advertising a 'promotion' on Facebook, so when I get to the landing page, I'd like to see a banner/Special Offer Star saying "Save a Gazillion Dollars - Normally $300, Now Only $99!!!"

You also give the potential client a choice of things that they won't understand. Sometimes it's best to give them one choice - take it or leave it.

There's also no Contact us form on that page. People are inheritantly lazy and if they have to search and/or leave a page to get that information, then you've lost them. Put a form on there, pre-filled with a discount code or something so they know they're getting a discount.

I can tell you a big problem right now. Your website isn't responsive and mobile friendly. Most people on Facebook are on their smartphones, particularly if their computer is down and they're looking for computer service.

Hi All

I have since updated the page:

www.techtree.ca/promotion.html

It should be better optimized for mobile and have a much better call to action. As far as the "guaranteed virus free for one year" - I stand behind Bitdefender and has done a fantastic job for me and my clients so far. The odd one manages to get infection but not enough for me to worry about.

Looks good! I just can't help thinking you're setting yourself up with the 1 year guarantee. People will take that as license to go anywhere and click anything safe in the knowledge that you'll clean up after them for free.

That's a great clarification on the guarantee as well as being a better presentation over all. And a guarantee that is certainly reasonable given BD.

Some other observations FWIW.

What about if a promotion covered user cannot be cleaned remotely and they insist on onsite? Are you waiving your onsite hourly?

In the promo section you also mention "protect files". My interpretation is that is some sort of backing up service which implies it's included in the annual fee.

If I had advertised promotions I'd also have a link on the main landing page to the promotion(s). Not every arrival comes from FB.

On the Services page. The picture slide show to the right looks nice. But, to me, I want to click on them to see what they are referring to.

Also on the Services page. The Our Workbench and Onsite buttons reference a page that does not load.
