So the clock's almost ready to strike 12. Got a notice about my MAPS expiring and to renew. Lol and behold can't find any renewal. While searching on here I found the thread from a couple of years ago.

Has anyone come up with a reasonable solution. I created a ticket with them anyways just to see what's available.

I renewed mine in December.

Go to https://partner.microsoft.com, login with the account you bought the thing with last year. Under the MPN section on the left, click Membership Offers and scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN. You'll see the Microsoft Action pack Subscription at the bottom.

MAPS never went anywhere, and that hullabaloo back in 2019 was them trying to take away internal use rights, not stop MAPS.

The documentation for how to renew was updated on 12/15/2020: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/mpn-get-action-pack

It's ALL in the Partner Center now... Everything you need.

I mean I guess these days it wouldn't be terrible if it went away... I'd technically save money by falling back to M365 Standard instead of using the E3 that comes with MAPS.

Thanks @Sky-Knight. After doing some more clicking around I've discovered this was self-inflicted so to speak. When I moved last year I updated everything, at least so I thought. Turns out if you make any change to your company you have to resubmit "official documentation" otherwise you're not in compliance. I actually had to move again last month and was updating my stuff for MAPS when I noticed the below. Hopefully they won't take long now that I've submitted updated documentation.

It doesn't help that Microsoft changes the way that site works every other week... glad you found it.

I suppose the good news is if you're using the M365 credits correctly they'll expire about a month after your MAPS goes... so you should have some time on that front.

They actually were very quick on this. I got a confirmation email that the business verification was completed about 10 minutes after I submitted the ticket.

And yeah, this whole never ending re-arranging the furniture think is getting so old. Log into Azure and Software Benefits a lot but not on the account stuff. So each time I have to do an account related thing it's like launching a whole new safari of the blind leading the blind.

You can’t renew MAPS until pretty much right at the end of your current term.
I forget the exact time frame but I know last time my 365 license had expired before I could renew MAPS and get a new license key.
I got a reminder email two or three times before the renewal option actually became available.

30 days before expiration date is the beginning of the renewal period.
