Appreciate the tip! Don't take this the wrong way, but I've lost all faith in ad-ware a long time ago. MBAM is my choice anti spyware these days (amongst a few others).

I totally agree with Majestic, it's been a long time that I didn't success in fixing malwares with ad-aware. Such a shame, I loved this tool in the past too...

I've come across a lot of systems that had the AdAware service running in the background and a fake AV in the foreground. Uninstalled. No point in wasting a customer's resources if its not going to catch things.
AdAware+Spybot used to be my tagteam a few years ago. Corny as it sounds, since MBAM came along, I've not looked back.

Yah I use Malwarebytes only but some people want other options so I figured I'd post it =)

I thought I remember reading a while ago that Ad-Aware was removing software from their list if the company that made the software requested it. So if a malware program was being detected, the company that made it requested its removal and so it was. That's when I stopped using it.
