Adobe Illustrator 10.x for Mac download?

I have a eMac that had a bad hard drive and transferring things over didn't go 100%. I am looking for the installer for Adobe Illustrator 10.x (any version). All I have found are the upgrades. The client is willing to purchase the software too, but since it's so old can't even find it. Also am trying to get in contact with Adobe to see if they are of any help. He doesn't have any discs . I appreciate anyones input.

Yikes an eMac? Even the latest version is only a G4 and you can't upgrade OSX past 10.5.

I don't think you will find that installer anywhere legally. The newer version will not work on 10.5. Maybe it is time for an upgrade to a new or newer iMac.

Otherwise check ebay for disks or an unopened copy maybe?

I know. It's a pain. eBay only has upgrade discs not the full install. He uses it to design signs so he is out of work without it. I found a trial Windows' version so he can atleast get back up, but I have 2 eMacs that need it. It came installed when he bought it.

He is having font issues running it in Windows so hopefully I can get a hold of a copy for his eMac.

I usually hate these type of replies because it doesn't solve the question you are asking but -

If he makes his living with these machines and he can't work because they are down, he is wasting time and money trying to get software or fix slow 10 year old machines that can't run any modern software.

He can buy used Mac Minis or even new ones for almost what I would charge to upgrade or fix one of these beasts. They will be faster than the eMac and able to do more.

I don't understand businesses that go cheap on the tools they use to make their living.

I'd have to say he is not missing making any money if he's designing on an eMac these days. Wonder if they have pizza designers like there are pizza techs?

I setup a spare Windows machine so he could get back up and running. Apparently Adobe is giving away CS2 Suite for free so he lucked out and just put that on both the eMacs.

Quit saying eMac. eMacs had PPC G4 processors which were incapable of running Windows. I'm assuming you mean iMac?

There are 3 systems here in total. I let him use one of my spare Windows desktops and he has 2 eMacs. Issue it taken care of now.

No, they just released keys so people who bought CS2 could still activate it. They just happen to have made the activation keys public to everyone.
