Apple calendar authentication failed with google account

Mac OS Sonoma apple calendar is giving me an Authentication failure, failure to authenticate with google please try again later, when ever I try to add google account to the calendar. any suggestions?

Essentially what I just told you in regard to Outlook 2016, but instead of looking for the entry for "Microsoft apps & services" find the one for the third-party connection for Apple. Nuke it and start over again.
