I wonder if there is anything related between Johnny Ive announcing last week that he is leaving Apple and now Apple planning on getting rid of the problematic butterfly keyboard for a thicker keyboard.
I saw a lot of debate about whether he was leaving because he wanted too or because he lost a fight over his "Thin at all costs" strategy. I wonder if he finally lost that battle over the keyboards because he refused to make a slightly bigger keyboard.
I really don't expect much changes with Ive gone, It's not like they are suddenly going to add ports or other functionality back to please people. I just hope they will be more reliable now.
