Am thinking of using Atera to make the move from break/fix to MSP. Has anyone got any experience with it compared to the other MSP platforms that are about?
SquareSo those of you using Ninja, what are you using for the billing side of things?
Just had a thought. Syncro offers "Remote Command Prompt and PowerShell". Anyone use this to turn on remote control on the fly? I have self hosted ScreenConnect and have machines with unattended sessions. I'm always worried about the next hack out there with all my clients machines exposed. Seems like it would be almost no slow down when I need to connect remotely to someone. Just issue a command and my ScreenConnect is installed again. All the other times there is no access, so I'm closing some holes.
I agree with Nibblybits, the syncromsp remote service used to be awful but it has improved vastly in the last few months. And it's nice to just take a peek at running services without having to open a whole remote desktop. I can close a misfiring app without even appearing visable to the client, awesome!I used it for about 12 months. They include splashtop for remote access.
Ended up moving to syncromsp recently as they have some nice integration with products I need.
FYI the syncromsp remote is nasty but doesn't matter as I use screenconnect cloud.
