Ok, so iTunes/iCloud doesn't backup email, that I know, they just back up email configuration/accounts. So, is there ANY way to backup emails stored on your iPhone/iOS device? A lot of people use POP3 to access their emails, and if the only copy of your emails is on your iPhone, and the iPhone dies/etc. they you're in a very bad situation.

I googled the question, but couldn't find anything useful.

bump...I still don't know the answer to this; and I did google it...is there a third-party app that does this?

No pop on phones! Urgghh! But you already know that. Customers, on the other hand . . .

I faced this situation once before. Here's what I did: I set up a gmail account and configured the iPhone for imap access. Then, I went into the three different pop inboxes they had on their iPhone. Moved all the messages into folders on the gmail imap account. It was a pita, but it worked. Needless to say, I did this over wifi. It took a while.

Edit: afaik, there is no app out there that backs up pop email on iPhone.

Yeah, the Gmail/IMAP route might be the only way unfortunately; too bad Apple doesn't allow backing up email via iTunes backups.
