I was listening to the BBC radio today and they did a story about Fabian Wosar, arguably the most prolific ransomware killer in the world. I couldn't find a link to the audio but I found a written and longer version of the story, which I have to admit is a fascinating read.

Law enforcement agencies should be employing guys like this to work together, anonymously, in teams. It's wrong that he should have to put his life at risk working as an unpaid lone ranger. This work should be the responsibility of national security agencies, if they weren't too busy spending vast amounts of our money spying on us.
