Bios for motherboard bricked laptop

Hi. I am currently working on a Toshiba Satellite L655-S5150. I downloaded the correct BIOS for this laptop and attempted to install it in Windows, it completed successfully, then when I rebooted I just got a black screen, not the Toshiba Logo. I tried clearing the CMOS by removing the battery from the motherboard, no such luck.
Is there a way to recover this BIOS?

Thanks!

Its possible the BIOS is flashed ok but corrupted, I've had that before. Did you do the hold down the power button thing when removing the battery ?

The l655 should have a Winbond 8pin SOP chip so its soldered, but its possible you could try "shorting" it to clear out whats in there.

This is not for forcing a panic/crisis/reload of the BIOS from a usb/cd but to try to force it to clear. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

If that don't work then I don't know if that model will do a panic/crises reload from a stick/cd, you might need to get a new chip.
