Searching for a way to copy or export text messages from an LG Rumor Reflex cell phone. This phone uses the BREW MP operating system and is not a smart phone. The text messages are on the phones built-in memory and not on the SD card.

SW version LN272ZV8
HW Version Rev. 1.0

I am willing to purchase a utility to perform this task if there is one that actually works.

I have no experience with this so seeking help here. Called local "phone repair" shops but no one can help. Sprint store salesman doesn't have a clue (could not talk with a technician).

On the galaxy s3 you can do a screenshot by holding the power button and home button at the same time. Then could be hooked to a pc and download the pics. Might check into that.

we get calls for this all the time, but haven't done a BREW phone in years.

Try these guys http://www.datapilot.com/

Androids are easy, just install the free SMS Backup+ app and back up to your gmail account. For iPhones I use iExplorer to get out Voice mails and sms messages.

This company makes huge bold claim that nobody does:

"DataPilot 7.0 Universal Kit
Cell Phone Management Suite
Works with All Cell Phones"

I sent them a message asking if they can do this. I am not optimistic.
