I am doing some work for a local company with 150 or so Chromebooks actively deployed. In the last week or so, we have seen a dozen or more Chromebooks suddenly having issues with auto-repeat settings issues causing random keys to repeat when pressed (ex. Teechniibbble.coom may be the result). We have the individual fix for individual devices but would like to figure out how to push out the fix globally as well as what caused it.
Users log in to the Chromebook, then launch VMWare Horizon for the majority of their work. The issue is consistent in both environments and the fix is in Chrome OS so not likely a VM issue.
This link shows the per machine fix:

Thanks!

How to change the keyboard settings in Chrome OS | My Computer My Way
To make typing on your keyboard easier and more comfortable, you can increase the delay before a keystroke repeats when you accidentally hold a key down for too long. You can also reduce the rate at which the character you're typing repeats, so that you don't get a long string of the same...

Thanks!
