Hi guys,

I haven't been around here for two years.
A lot has changed.

I wanted to know how you guys were providing cloud backup and local sync?

DropBox is being used at the moment. However 110GB is being sent to DropBox, but as it exceeds the 100GB boundary, some of it isn't being covered, and DB don't want to give the extra space, instead they want *big* bucks for a huge chunk of space that won't be used.

The machines are setup with C:\DropBox, all users are then hanging off this, so if anyone creates a doc or media file, it goes to the cloud. As all machines are setup like this, any machine can be used for file creation and all the other machines are updated.

It's a sweet setup, but the costs don't make sense. I've considered SpiderOak and CrashPlan.

What are your recommendations?

check out ibackup.com currently 10$ for 100GB

their data plans seem reasonable and they have various ways in which you can access the space.

I put my business clients on crashplan pro which has a web interface to login to and check the backups. I login every morning and every evening to make sure all of my business clients have backed up 100% throughout the day.

It costs me $8 per server per month and I sell it for $95 a month.
