You can download your ISO with the Downloader here IKt is in the Win 10 section NOT the insider section.
https://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/67-microsoft-windows-iso-download-tool

I would suggest using the ISO for upgrades because the piece of junk Media Creation tool will download all the new extra junk during the upgrade.

Having the ISO also makes it quicker.

I have already done a upgrade install on my 2 systems and have done 3 clean installs on Clients computers. Have not had any issues.

P.S. Malwarebytes 3.0 CU4 is working with no issues on these 5 systems. :p

I have also created my audit mode images for quick install.

Can anyone verify if the Media Creation Tool is doing 1703? I'm on a slow link and not willing to wait for a 4GB download just to find out. I like the MCT because it creates one stick that can do both Home and Pro and both 32 and 64-bit versions.

@Metanis I just did the MCT, and its 1607.
And I just did it too with the MCT, got the ISO, installed it on a machine, Version 1703.

Looking at the link I used to download the MCT I think I was on the wrong site. I was on https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10 Note the "en-gb" in the path. Normally I'd go to "en-us" since I'm in the US. Don't know if it really matters.

I sensed something was off when Cortona took over during the OOBE setup. Again when I tried to look at the System control panel to check activation. Then the straw that broke the camel's back, couldn't find the legacy Control Panel by right-clicking Start.

Anyway, where is the eff-ing Control Panel now?

edit to answer my own question: Windows + R and type "control"

I did the US site later yesterday and got 1703 using the MCT. I'm a happy camper.

Trying to bring all control panel settings in to the settings section to accommodate smaller touch devices.

I really don't know how they're going to do that. There are so many little settings in the control panel. Putting them all in the settings app would make it even more crowded and confusing than it already is.

Maybe we'll just have to scroll through pages and pages to get to that one setting we're looking for.
