Second machine since the new update that d7 has broken 'HTTP' under hidden non-plug and play drivers in device manager. It leaves me connected to the local network, but no Internet access. Anyone else experiencing this?

Haven't narrowed down exactly which d7 function is causing it but I would guess 'Reset Networking'

SFC say no integrity issues found. Not sure of the procedure of restoring non-plug and play drivers as there is no inf associated with them as I can find. The driver having issues is system32/drivers/http.sys

Thanks!

Actually leaning more towards the 'Reset Group Policy' function in d7 now. Looking at the event log I can see lots of issues where service dependencies are broken..

Edit: Thx Xander

I have had machines come in where I see weird problems on http.sys when viewing hidden but that was before D7. I cant recall what I did but I think this might be a virus issue and not a D7 issue. In cleaning up the virus/whatever it might break something that is using a hacked http.sys so now its totally screwed. But I don't think its D7 itself causing the issue.
