I was looking for SODIMM trays that would accommodate slightly longer DDR4/5 SODIMM RAM as the one I have now requires pushing the DDR4/5 RAM down pretty hard and are clearly not meant for newer RAM versions, so I keep them stored loosely in an older tray. I just came across this tray option from on eBay. Looks legit!

From the eBay listing:

Note that these are specifically designed for DDR4. There are many sellers selling cheaper "DDR4" trays or packaging and we have verified they are NOT made for DDR4. They are actually made for DDR3 and squeeze DDR4 modules. We are a memory vendor so we have purchased many options and NONE of them were designed for DDR4. We have finally found a local electronics packaging manufacturer that has designed these high quality perfectly fitting DDR4 trays and we are now making it available on eBay. Perfect fit for DDR4 guaranteed.

For memory pulls ( = storage of used RAM sticks for either eventual use or eventual scrap), I switched to trays because it was the only good way to organize them. The trays we use look sort of like those in the OP's link, and have clear covers that snap over them. We never really had any trouble, although since we don't test the RAM before storing it, I don't know if the handful of bad sticks we have found over the years were bad when we stored them, or went bad because of the storage method. We don't really stock new RAM anymore since we stopped building workstations, but when we did, we just left those in the original packaging and had little labeled bins for each type.
