In an office today the dell precision all have some sort of video issue, they all run 2 screens. The complaint was mouse but no video. Simple thought you reboot or drain the power to fix, because team viewer on them is working so they are up.
One had a HDMI running one monitor and display port running the second. Once I pulled the hdmi off the pc the main monitor came on. Plugged the hdmi back on and both screens went black. Found a spare display port adapter and that got both monitors working.
Tehn a second pc went to a black screen, this time it was a display port cable, so took the display port out and plugged in an hdmi monitor worked.
Third pc I tried to reuse a spare disply port cable (as the hdmi port was in use and working) but that second monitor would not come up.
I think there may have been a bad update sent out from Microsoft, but I haven't seen anything else about it now.
YES, i checked for driver updates (intel HD 530?) and there werent any but the intel video driver downloaded from Dell's site would not install gave a not compatible error.
