I'm replacing a cracked screen on a Dell Vostro 3500 laptop. I've got it apart and have ordered the screen. However, I haven't dealt with this before. It looks like the raw panel is stuck to two brackets with adhesive. So I guess I'll just peel those off and stick them to the new panel. Is that what these pull-tab looking things are for?

Can I just pull those tabs to remove?

Do I need to buy new adhesive strips or can I reuse what's there?

If I need to buy, any recommendations?

That looks like the adhesive removal tab... so yeah in theory pull and it releases.

You'll need to replace them though, they're not reusable.

Strips. I stocked up, many computers are using them.

Are those the exact ones you ordered? Wonder if the same ones are on Amazon for easier ordering for me. Never ordered from that vendor before.
