Hi there,

Has anyone used DMDE for data recovery? http://softdm.com/

I'm trialling the free version at the moment and am about to purchase the Pro version. I'm pretty impressed and so far seems to be on a par with R-Studio, the big benefit is that it's 60 Euro for the Professional edition which is more comparable to the Technician license of R-Studio @ $899.00 USD

Cheers

There really are just too many data recovery software tools to keep track of all of them. But, given the screen shot, it doesn't "look" that hot. But sometimes those are the best ones :) Please let us know how it works out for you.

Yeah I agree there are a lot out there and not all are equal.

The 2 things I've use so far that have helped me do a successful recovery are reverse clone and skip x amount of sectors on IO error.

1 thing I want to try but I don't have a hdd with this issue is accessing hdd even if not bios detected (done via DOS).

Cheers
