Hello experts!
Business has been consistently growing and I would like to scale up, but in order to scale, I know I need to develop more processes and document their procedures. I’ve been lucky enough to grow slow, but it’s getting harder to manage my time.
So my question is what are some of the tasks you have procedures for?
I have one for each of the following:
- bookkeeping task checklist (monthly, quarterly, annually)
- site survey checklist (recurring customers)
- onboarding checklist (recurring customers)
- terminate employee in 365
I have some customer specific tasks documented like how to Install and configure LOB apps.
I would like to add more customer specific tasks like how to set up a new employee at each customer (checklist of equipment(computer, bag, camera…etc), checklist of software, configurations (signatures, applying licenses, sign in to 365…etc)
also I was thinking of templates to give customers such as a welcome aboard letter for new employee, a series of check in emails during the first 30-90 days of onboarding a customer…etc.
my business is still pretty small. It’s me and I float between one and two employees and I rely pretty heavily on subs.
