Hi,
Is anyone aware of a free tool to facilitate IncrediMail Conversion to Convert IncrediMail IMM Files to Outlook Express and/or Windows Mail etc.
I have tried looking for something like this for a long time but always come up against dead ends and paid for versions.
I only come across this once or twice a year so don't really want to outlay for a tool I seldom use.
Thanks.

I have found an IMM to eml freeware converter.

So... If anyone is interested, I fell over some progress I have yet to try and thought it may be handy for anyone else with a similar dilemna. Here is the link if anyone is interested or has had the same problems. It is an open source Incredimail database to EML Converter.
Some of his research and progress. Here in wiki and here is the Use this command to anonymously check out the latest project source code:.

I have transfered the 2 downloads to a pen drive, am about to install the larger, so I will post the results shortly.

This is out of date, the author has all but given up on it, its buggy and crashes a lot half way through the conversion process. I am going to buy a full retail version, what a headache and a lot of wasted time.

Solution found was paid version. Others either crashed or failed.

I brought this program fro here (www.incredimailtooutlook.org) for around $45.95USD. It works but I am not going to rave about it, it's functional which I suppose is all that matters. Note to Fab if your reading this... an .imm .imh to .eml or .pst converter would be a great addition to Fabs Autobackup when dealing with that massive middle aged woman magnet email client called Incredimail (or better known as Incredi-difficult or Incredi-uncompatable).

NOTE: PCVWARE from all appearances seems to be a pretty dodgy (not real or legitimate for our usa english speaking cousins) site, behind it there are no real server or links of any kind, privacy policy led to a dead end, all emails came back as this:

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

sales@pcvware.com
Error Type: SMTP
Error Description: No mail servers appear to exists for the recipients address.
Additional information: Please check that you have not misspelled the recipients email address.

There was no paypal link which indicates legitimacy to an extent, so by all indications pretty untrustworthy. DO NOT USE.

Apart from that all I hope I have saved someone the hours of dredging it took me to find the results above.

I just add a secondary account to a free gmail address and pull all the data into the gmail account and then re-download it into the client they want to use. It's pretty quick even with large amounts of mail.

incrdimail sucks... one of my bigger clients uses it. the only way i found was buying incredimail backup pro. there is no free verision worth using. I looked and looked and looked. i even went as far as to look on torrent sites. nothing.

mailstore has a paid program to convert to outlook.

when i can onboard i switched the client to windows 7 from xp. the old incredmail saved in a different struture (pre early 2011) so i had a hell of a time figuring out a little file alteration was needed to backup and transfer to the new redesigned program. Customer service is a joke even for premium customers.

I can honestly say it was my least favorite program i have ever worked with.
