Hi All,

I thought I would share in one location where you can get driver packs. For the major manufacturers out there.

Dell
Dell have driver’s cabs. The cab file contains and the INFs.

I like to use Ctrl + F to find what im looking for. You can use 7-zip to extract the drivers form the cab file.

Fujitsu
Fujitsu have driver packs

HP
HP have a tool called “SoftPaq” Manager – Available

I find the softpaq tool quite cumbersome, however it does the job.

HP also have driver matrix, although not many models are on there yet.

Lenovo

Lenovo also have an application called “Update receiver” similar to HP Softpaq.

As long as we're dredging up an old thread: I also used to wade through various manufacturer's support websites to download needed drivers, but no longer.

If you're still going that route, take a look at Snappy Driver Installer (http://snappy-driver-installer.sourceforge.net/en/index.php) by one of our Technibble members, BadPointer. After the OS is installed, I run Snappy and sit back while it figures out all the needed drivers and then installs them one by one. Occasionally it doesn't have a needed driver so I have to check the manufacturer's website, but 95+% of the time, when it finishes, I'm good to go.

Yeah we run Snappy with full downloads on some externals. Just plug it in and let it do it's thing. Very handy program.
