OS = Win 7 pro
NIC 1 is plugged into WRT54 router 1 - NIC 3 into pfsense router 2. Gateway addresses are 192.168.1.1 & 192.168.2.1 respectively. I placed NIC 1 on top of the list in the advanced settings in network connections where it lists the order for all the network adapters.
If both are plugged into the routers and I do a tracert I see that it uses NIC 3, which is actually 3rd on the list (NIC 2 is placed above on the list). If I do an IP lookup on the net, it pulls my IP from router 2.
Is there something else I need to besides ordering the NIC's as I did? I didn't see anything in the bindings section that would allow for this.
I only need to use one ISP for now (setting up dual WAN on pfsense) but would like to have this machine hooked up to both routers so I can work on the setup.
Basically I'd like to use router 1, NIC1 and still be able to connect to Router 2 for management. Anyone know what I need to change?
