Fix for windows 7 Updates

This might be old hat to some of you but we just came across it.

For the last three weeks we have been experiencing problems with Windows 7 updates on N&P and refurbs. We start an update session and it just keeps running and does nothing.

One of our techs found this on the Microsoft website. We ran it on three machines and voila - updates worked.

We tried the Fixit update fix - it didn't work but this one did, at least on these three units.

Good find. Also, I have found that the tweaking.com all in one repair tool helps too. It's fixed the windows update on a few machines that were otherwise clean but could not get updates working for us. Saved me from a few nuke and paves.
