I'm looking for ideas on suppliers of foil labels with my contact details for laptops and desktops. At the moment I use PCRT Dymo labelling which is great for tracking when I my possession. I usually leave the labels on the computer/laptop but on the latter they rarely survive and wear out. So I'm thinking of using a nice foil label basically with my contact details that are durable. Anyone using a particular supplier in the UK?

Does anyone ever complain about seeing your label on their machine? I've been thinking about doing this for a while now. Where do you place them on the laptop and where on the desktop?

Martyn, you may want to invest in a Dymo Rhino 6000 label printer. Don't go for anything less, as you will need the software that comes with this in order to be able to print your logo on labels, and labels range from 6mm to 24mm. I personally have the 5200, but wish I had opted for the 6000. Also, go for the hard case kit, not the standard label machine.

Check out Printerland and PrinterBase:

version

Trust me - you will use this device!

I have been using PCRT for more than a year with the Dymo Labelwriter 450. Desktop labels tend to last but the laptop ones will sometimes wear or fade a lot. I sometimes put an extra label in the battery compartment depending on the customer.
BTW you can put your logo on the PCRT label.

Actually after Mark said about the 450 Duo(I have the 400) I was looking at that. It looks like it can handle nylon labels as a 2nd label so that may suit even more. Amazon have the 450 Duo for around £136. I love the Dymo printing from PCRT so if I print out a durable label as well as the standard one that would work.

Thanks
