Frustrating Yammer Issue

Good afternoon, everyone. I have a client that has a three-person office, all using Office 365. They have never used Yammer, nor do they want to use Yammer. Despite that, they are getting many Yammer emails even after I have removed the Yammer license on each person's account in the admin panel. Is there a better way to turn off Yammer completely? After some Googling, I could not find a definitive answer other than unsubscribing, which was the first thing they did before I shut it off in the admin panel. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.

It's in the admin portal though, under Yammer, under settings...did you see the screenshot I put up? Just pull the checks in the boxes.

Thanks for sticking with me. I do not get that screen under the admin panel. I attached a few pics to show you where I went. Thanks again!

It wasn't visible, so I went to all admin centers.

Then to the yammer option

This is where it brings me. The admins are greyed out, and no one is listed under remove user.

Yeah you're missing that left side bar....
confirming that you're logged in as a global admin?

Snipping tool my above screenshot, that "gear" icon that I circled in blue is what you need to drill into...

Yes, I am logged into global admin. Ok, well, it's a call to MS. Thanks, everyone, for your help. It doesn't even seem fully set up not sure why it's emailing them.

Not sure if removing the licensing for the Yammer app pulled some of the functionality of the admin portal, maybe try adding it to your account again.
Could try creating another temporary global admin account and logging in as that...navigating to that spot.

THIS. Locked the keys in the car. You don't have the license to change the settings. The easiest fix is to add it back, turn all the settings off, and then remove the license again.

Ok. This makes sense. I will give it a try this week. I knew it had to be something simple I wasn't seeing.
