How a Bitcoin Evangelist Made Himself Disappear...

Ok but if I find his dummy house he still has to get the mail some how, if he has that forwarded then theres a way to find this private mailbox at a shipping center thats not far from his new home. (even if it isnt a direct mail forward to the private mailbox it still gets there eventually so could rig a gps tracker in a package) Since he bothered to tell these details to nytimes I figured he probably made a mistake on twitter. Based on the tweets i'm guessing he probably setup his internet service in sept of 2018 and since he seems like a geek I feel like the odds are high he set it up soon after he purchased the home so then you simply look for homes in that area that were purchased by an LLC thats registered in nevada, wyoming, or new mexico in sept of 2018.

Edit: ....unless its not forwarded at all and he has a tenant living at the dummy house with instructions to scan all mail and email him the images:cool:

I don't think that's the point. There's probably a hundred different ways to find him if you were really determined to. The way I see it is that he's demonstrating the lengths you must go to if you do not wish to be tracked or surveilled. He's attempting to opt-out of the system and all of the privacy invasions that we've come to accept as normal. Between the governments, banks and large corporations such as Facebook and Google, pretty much everything you say, spend, do and think is under surveillance. Privacy should be a basic human right, and anything that compromises your privacy should be a consensual opt-in, yet we've traded our privacy for convenience and gradually allowed it to be taken away. I applaud guys like Jameson Lopp for trying to take it back.
