Core temp is saying my system is at idle at core 0-4C and Core 1-0C, It is a stock fan it is heavy duty though its not a small fan its huge with copper tubing but I mean it is stock, and the thermal compound is 99.9% silver aftermarket compound I took off the original compound that came with the fan, is this ready accurate? My processor is a AMD Athlon 64 x2 AM2 3.10Ghz 6000+, and when I boot my PC it always states it is 43C and then it goes up to about 46 but with Core temp on the desk top it says it is at 4c and 0c.

Hmm..weird. Those temps are definitely wrong.
I am using CoreTemp also, and it reports fine.

You can try SpeedFan (google it) and see if you have better luck with that.

Either that's wrong or AMD developed some type of room temperature super conductor. I'm going to guess it's the first option.
