How to recover OST files of MS Outlook

Accidentally deleted folder in Outlook with OST files inside. In the basket was not found. How to recover?
 
Did you have/was 'Use offline folders' checked? If not, just re hook to your exchange server and let it all regenerate.
 
You can check Scaost.exe Tool to fix this issue. Check below manual steps to use this technique and before following them make sure that
system is connected to Exchange account.
  • Locate Scanost.exe application at the following default location: drive:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE12.
  • First of all, you need to exit Outlook application if it’s in running mode.
  • Double click on Scanost.exe to run it.
  • From the Profile Name list dropdown, choose the profile that contains the required OST file.
  • On being prompted, choose Connect to connect with Exchange server.
  • Choose the required options according to your choice.
  • Make sure you select the Repair Errors check box for confirming that the tool automatically resolves any discrepancy found during scanning.
  • Click to begin scan and the same will be started. Any discrepancy found will be fixed then and there.
 
If it's Exchange (like Outlook should be)..just launch and let it connect to the Exchange account and it will quickly rebuild a fresh offline file (the OST).
If it's IMAP..well..restore from backup, they backed up...right? And...learn never to support Outlook with IMAP again, they ain't a marriage made in heaven, POP/IMAP support was an after-thought for Outlook.
