I also enjoy that in the wiki there is a picture labeled "From behind the prison" a bit of a wait what moment to read all about the tourist aspects of it and just a casual mention of something about a prison that is near it. This isn't mentioned anywhere else on the page so kind of has the mind wonder.

No stairway, though, and given the steepness of the incline, I can't imagine who'd climb it if there were.

I've ridden that one! Having a couple of funiculars here always gives us a guaranteed stop for out-of-towners. Plus, you get to say the word 'funicular' - so there's that.
