Curious I used to Be top name if you searched for "computer repair in "Town , State". I was A for the longest time. Now if you look I'm 5th one down in listing, but shows my name first as websites after shows block of local businesses. Any thing I can do to get back on top? Any causes of this? I am told this is because of social media.... Thank You

I just took down recycling company hosting. Putting recycling company on back end of my main page.

I think it's just a change in how searches are coming up. I know when you searched "data recovery" here, it used to be Drivesavers, then the local map results, then my page. Now, it's the local results first (of which I'm #1), then my page afterward. Not sure where drivesavers went, must be bad for their business.

This is what I got. OS X 10.9, FF 42.0. Safari 9.0.1 is the same except that there is an Ad for alphanetsolutions.com just above the box with the map. I do have ABP installed as well. Have you tried clearing cache, cookies, etc? Different browser? Using a proxy or a VPN? Using a DNS that is not your ISP's? By the way, welcome neighbor.

Top here. Remember that Google customizes its results to you. To get uncustomized results and see the more "true" results, enter your browsers private mode, goto http://www.google.com/ncr (NCR = No Country Recognition)

Then do your search.

Its showing Google Places, I assume it wasnt there before? If thats the case, there is not much you can do about it. Best thing to do is to add yourself to Google places as well.

I was there before (and should still be) and was Letter A till they what seems ditched the letter system of finding businesses.
