I wish laptop industry would stick to 1 end for power supplies

This is getting annoying having to have a billion different ends for laptop power supplies i have boxes full of them then a customer walks in with new laptop his power supply died i look at the end and it is nothing like all the ones i have in stock .

We are working towards that with USB-C. With CPU TDP getting lower and lower almost all outside of workstation laptops and gaming laptops will be able to run off USB-C power delivery.

Now it just needs to get cheap enough to trickle down to the cheap models.

they all need to adopt the surface connection system, lets see them break that jack! ......some how they will probably still find a way, but still!
