Lenovo ThinkPad T14S Gen 2a Windows 11 laptop nuke and pave job.
I installed a fingerprint reader driver since it was listed as a driver for it and I thought the power button had a built-in fingerprint reader, but it does not.
I see they can have this: Optional match-on-chip touch fingerprint reader.
It appears that it is permanently installed as I cannot find a way to uninstall it. I'm guessing this will not be a problem?
Things I have tried checking:
- Check Device Manager.
- Settings > Apps as well as Devices.
- Control Panel > Programs and Features.
- The installer program does not give the option to uninstall.
