Just a heads up that the few units I have that have seen this already, took quite a while to reboot. My desktop just took 20min to install this update.

It doesn't seem to have broken anything, it just sat on a black screen for a rather extended period. Hopefully, this isn't a sign of things to come!

I've had that before, turned it off before... had to turn it off again.

@Porthos You called it! My memory sucks as usual.

Machines that didn't have that feature before took a bit longer to reboot than the machines that had it on beta. So if you're getting the new toy, it takes a bit.

Got this on 2 client PC's today. Easy enough to turn off but I'm looking for a way to remove it permanently.
Both these clients are not happy with it being on their PC (even being hidden).
I feel another NTLite build coming soon...
What would be nice is if Microsoft asked "Do you want this?" and provided a "yes/no" button.

Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Feeds]
"EnableFeeds"=dword:00000000

Disable_News_and_Interests_on_taskbar_feature_for_all_users.reg

Download

4 Save the .reg file to your desktop.

5 Double click/tap on the downloaded .reg file to merge it.

6 When prompted, click/tap on Run, Yes (UAC), Yes, and OK to approve the merge.

7 Either restart the explorer.exe process, sign out and sign in, or Restart the computer to apply.

8 You can now delete the downloaded .reg file if you like.

Not sure if anyone has been having this issue with this particular KB5006367 update but it has been causing issues with the printer spooler. So when the client goes to print Windows states there are no printers. When I check the printers they are all showing as offline. I remove the particular update reboot and the issue is gone. What I have been doing is delaying that update for 7 days on Home users and 14 days on Pro until it gets patched.

That's been an intermittent thing for Windows 10 for ages...

Even that machine that seems to want ctrl-alt-delete can change back to only needing a click or enter on the next reboot. It just sort of comes and goes.

I'll also reinforce what Porthos is saying. Every single user, on every single Win10 station... Start -> Settings -> System -> Notifications & Actions. Find the block of six check boxes, and turn off the bottom three. That not only cleans up the Welcome screen, but shortens logins after feature updates, and eliminates the nags to integrate with a Microsoft account.

The whole ctrl-alt-delete to login thing was a "security feature" for antiquated hardware no one uses anymore. So requiring it is just archaic at this point.

The linked article is accurate, but it indicates security can be attained by using this ancient practice... it cannot.

Indeed. I get it every once in a while on every machine I use regularly. I'm just accustomed to hitting CTRL+ALT+DEL when it gets stuck that way. I ceased thinking about it, or being concerned about it, long ago. If Enter doesn't work (and it does in the vast majority of cases) then CTRL+ALT+DEL.
