Logo Contest - Looking for opinions.

I have a contest going on at 48 Hours Logo. It is still in the concept stage but I would like a little input because I am not real good with this stuff. I have attached some of my favorites, I hope no one minds taking a look and giving their opinions. Any advice on concept changes would be appreciated as well. Thanks

No to anything with a power button. Wait until the contest enters the judging stage. That way you will have more choices and better designs. Remember that it needs to be something that will work well on printed objects and your website.

Yeah, I just got through telling everyone that the power button thing was just not for me. I have seen that around a lot and honestly its not very creative. About it matching my website, well that is still something I need to do so I was waiting on a logo and was planning on creating a page to match the logo.

Yeah, #2 if I had to pick too, but I would wait until you get more designs. You want something original, creative, and easy to print/put on promotional materials.

Here is a tip: Go here http://www.48hourslogo.com/designer_list.php and look through those designers portfolios. If you see some that you like send them an invite to your contest. When you run out of invites and want to invite more designers comment on their portfolio with a link to your contest and let them know that you would like them to submit a design.

Well I did do the free invites but none have entered the contest, that was a couple days ago. I will begin browsing for some more and leave some comments though and see how that turns out. Thanks.

I looked at your contest and saw that xtian gray submitted some designs. He is the guy that did my logo. I would be interested in seeing a screenshot of all the current submissions.

Yeah he actually only submitted one design with a few revisions to it. It is logo3 out of the ones I posted above.

i like 48, 72, and 54 (if it had a white or transparent background, dont like the black) 70 and 63 make me think of nike, so i dont like them
