Macbook Pro super slow

I have checked the hard drive shows no issues internet is super slow takes forever for a webpage to show up also scanned for virus and malware found nothing.

Tried other browsers other than safari runs fast tried clearing caches.

Check the battery condition. I was seeing discussion somewhere within the past week or so about both iOS (particularly with some kind of battery issue firmware fix on the iPhone 6?) and I believe Macbooks throttling the CPU hard if the battery is worn or missing.

Edit: Wait, is it fast except for Safari? Can't help you with that then, haven't really used a Mac in years.

Have you tried resetting Safari back to factory defaults?
