Magnetic mats... talk to me

Trying to find a reasonably priced magnetic mat, we use these to hold screws in place when disassembling laptops/mobile phones

the one from iFixit looks perfect but very pricy,

I will probably order 10 mats, but they are priced at £17 per mat which is a lot, and if I absolutely have to I will pay it.
There is a short video that shows them tipping it upside down and no screws moved, all of the ones we have aren't that strong, and frequently get knocked and screws end up everywhere. We also store things disassembled whilst waiting for parts to arrive to complete the repair so the mats do get moved around a bit.

The screws in the cup will keep the cup attached to the magnet. Just pull the cup when it's time to put things back together. I'm pretty sure the price is much less than other options.

I bought a batch of 10x4mm round magnets for about $3.50 CAD and use one them for sets of screws as they get removed, e.g., bottom cover, under keyboard, motherboard, etc. I put them in plastic parts trays with dividers if I need to wait on parts. Here is one eBay seller of similar magnets.

Sometimes we use simpler solutions but where there are several layers to take apart or (especially iphones) several different screw sizes I like to lay them out on a mat

I've bought a few different mats (non iFixit) and had actually given up on finding one with decent magnetic strength, then I saw the iFixit video, so started looking again, that mat looks perfect but not available in UK unfortunately.

I have found green (or any color) scotchbrite pads to hold screws and small pieces very well.
Advantage is the parts do not have to be metal.

We have a couple of the ifixit magnetic mats, and they are great for when the laptop is going back together right away. If we have to stop and order a part, or the reassembly gets delayed for some reason, I don't trust them. For that, we use little partitioned boxes like these. We have a couple of different sizes, and they have lids that snap shut so the screws can't get lost.

I have a few different things that I use, but the ones I like are the triple trays from my local Princess Auto. Steel trays with 3 magnets running about $6 CAD each.
