An excellent question, I figure he has the port 3389 open on his router or perhaps hes just going full on rambo and is directly connected to the modem.

Love it. but no. I have a firewall behind the modem. The desktop had it turned on. I used to have port forward setup but hasn't been enabled in a long time. Looks like this is good now. i've ensured that RDP ports are completely off.

I use a SonicWALL TZ400 with the full security suite.
