Inventory management

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone here uses anything like what I'm looking for.

I currently manage an inventory of various equipment using
Excel. I don't really like using Excel for doing this sort of task.
And then I've also been asked about any type of system that allows items to be checked in and out easily and be kept track of.

It would either have to be free, or very low cost.

Any suggestions?

I don't know the free ones, but the ones that are not free, are not cheap either.

I haven't tried this one, but it's free.
