I'm surprised this compiled correctly and everything works. I've compiled MalwareBytes, SUPERAntiSpyware, and SpyBotSD into a single, portable executable. I used Cameyo under a Windows XP VM (Windows 7 x86 for original build) to capture a Ninite installation of the 3 apps.

Build3: (Same as before, 75MB, added CCleaner, updated programs/defs)

Build2: (Better compatibility, 66MB, quicker first-run)

Build1: (Original compilation, some reported errors, 151MB, slow first-run)

What OS are you using? I didn't have to do that in the ones I've tested.

UPDATE: The programs also just updated and kept their defs on the same machine. So a quick update once copied to a machine for scans should do the trick.

I'm on Windows 7 Pro 64bit; when I first ran the exe normally and chose malwarebytes, the window closed and nothing happened. When I ran it as admin it worked perfectly.

Looks VERY nice! going to test it out. I love the fact that this allows you to copy it over remotely and not have a single thing installed on a customer's computer. Thanks!

Just thought of an issue. MBAM and SAS often mark files for removal on reboot... Using it virtualized you'll have to save the log and remove the files manually.

It was brought to my attention that it was a bit buggy in XP. It's likely from compiling it in Windows 7, so I'll make it under an XP VM and see if it runs okay on Windows 7. Essentially just doing things backward.

Here's the one built in XP. This seems like it may be the better build, especially since it is way smaller (66MB).

Testing I've done:

XP x86 / Win7 x86/ Win7 x64: Opened w/double click (no run as admin), all apps opened without error. Was also able to run all 3 simultaneously in each OS.

No, it will remove them on reboot. When you execute the portable app, it copies files to a sub folder of application data. When you exit the app, it does not delete those files. That's why it runs faster on the second run.

Just wanted to say thanks again for this great creation, it has come in handy so many times lately in dealing with multiple systems. It still amazes me how each spyware program can miss/identify pieces the others don't.
