MSI CX700 Touchpad

One of my clients gave an MSI CX700 laptop, which I've re-installed Windows on. The issue I have is the driver for the touchpad is nowhere to be found. I've Googled the issue and I'm not the only one. I tried both generic Synaptics and Alps drivers which didn't work, I even tried Driver Packs which also didn't work.
Any suggestions/help is appreciated.

The generic drivers from Microsoft should work for the touchpad. Have you tried to hard reset the laptop by pressing the power button for over 30 seconds while the AC adapter and the battery are removed and disconnected?

But it doesn't offer features such as scrolling and multi-touch (the main reason I'm trying to find a driver.) Draining the caps do nothing.

Have you contacted MSI to see if they have a recovery disk? That, or go into Device Manager, go to details, and start google-ing the information + driver.
