Multiple Inboxes in Gmail

I have a client that wants to go web-based for email and get away from outlook, but they want similar features of outlook.
One of the main features they want is to be able to see several inboxes(for different emails) all on one page like Outlook.

Is Google Labs the only way to do this and if so how do you enable it on their Google apps? Or is there a better app that can do this?

Appreciate it!

Google labs will do it, you just have to enable it on the domain if it's not then enable it by account.

You could also do something similar with filtering rules. Use POP3, or mail forwarding, or whatever....
Then set up rules for messages and direct them to different labels, based on the accounts. You can do sub-labels/folders, too. It's a little confusing, because it's still one inbox... and may not be what they want.
They'd be able to choose which account to send from as well as sort the mail, though.

I'd probably trust the second option better, despite the learning curve, because the labs option could break or go away.

I agree with above, gmail filters and labels is the way forward. I use gmail (apps for domains) to manage our entire company email system and have not looked back since. Outlook is so buggy and crashes too much.

You can easily check for messages from different email accounts using the pop settings and gmail will check periodically and if you set the filter up move them to the correct label. Works really well.

Are their any tutorials to break down filters and labels?

thanks!
