[REQUEST] Need drivers for HP 9050 MFP.

Hey,

I am trying to find drivers for an old HP Laserjet 9050 MFP in Windows 7. They used to have dedicated drivers for the machine but now the only thing on HP's website is the Universal driver which seems to be crashing the old DOS-based program that is trying to print. Other computers in the office have the proper driver but we can't find 64-bit install files for this printer.

Does anyone have a copy?

I don't have a copy, but have you tried the printer drivers included in Snappy Driver Installer Origin? Unfortunately they aren't labeled by model, but you could extract the PCL6 folder for HP and see if any work.

All that shows me are the Universal Print Drivers.

Hmm... Try a private browser window. Stupid machines. I just tried it in Safari and it's giving me UPD. Which one do you want 32 or 64?

Their FTP site. I did some looking around and found some readme's which have the driver version number but not file name. In printers/software.

Yea I saw them but I don't have the guts to try them. I think I have a method to pull install files from a working unit. Will relay what I find.

Try this, its the XP/Vista x64 driver.

Also typically drivers like those unzip a folder to the root of c:\ (you can try looking there on another machine).
