I have a customer, she is rather old, and very "straight to the point". She doesnt want to see any wires.

So my plan is to find a nice looking box of some sort to store the devices in.

She has a mini comcast box, a slingbox, and an small dlink router. Then im going to run a cable runner to hide the main surge protector cable to the power socket.

But I cant seem to find a nice box to do this with, does anyone have any ideas?

I'd checkout someplace similar to Hobby Lobby for an old lady appropriate box. Probably find inexpensive wood and cardboard boxes in a variety of sizes and designs. They wouldn't look terrible and would be easy to modify for such a purpose.

Somewhere, out there, are an army of old ladies knitting computer "cozys" that will have exactly what you need.

I don't know exactly what to type in google, but I am sure you can find it if you try. :D

I have a client that has a similar setup. She went to the Container Store and got a nice box, cut holes for the wires and stuffed everything inside.

She had problems because she didn't have any ventilation and the equipment got too hot. A fan was out of th question, so we put holes in the bottom and top for convection cooling and things work much better.

The problem im having is this lady is "upper class" so to speak, she has crystal furniture. So it has to look nice. if its a white box, it has to look professional or she will not go for it.

I have googled my head off and always find cable runners. Just cant figure out the correct word to use. :(
