OK, this is my latest scheme to drum up more business. As Bryce suggested- plan for famine while you are feasting (paraphrased).

I had considered putting an expiration date on the coupon/ad but I don't care when they bring it in -as long as they get here! :D

Any suggestions for next months ad? Willing to listen to ANY idea.

Yeah:

"Limit one per customer"

Really do the "Offer expires on "xx/xx/xx"", people will bring them in at
the worst time when you no longer want them.

Also something like "not combinable" or "not to be combined with any other offer".

Good suggestions! Too late to change for Wednesday but will change for Thursday and then on. Added "services only" and expiration date of 04/30/10.
Thanks guys! Love to bounce ideas off you!

Is that the entire ad? I don't see an address or the types of services offered. Is it on-site service, carry-in or both? Pickup, dropoff service offered? Is it $25 off parts or service?

Does the ad run everyday, every other day, once a week, once a month?

Good questions. My ads run everyday except Sunday and Monday. My avatar with all the info ran for 2 months. Wanted to mix it up a bit. This is specific ad will run for one day (as posted above) the services only and expiration date will be added to the one replacing on Thurs. since I felt I needed to add the qualifiers.
The ad is good for drop off of pick up service - this paper is local to my small city so most are local readers.

Oh, OK, thanks for the clarification. It was just that reading it made me wonder - where is this company located? What do they do? :)

@Ohiotech

How did this ad ($25 coupon) work for you? Did you see results?

Also, I thought I saw a more elaborate ad of yours that included the services you offered along with the coupon - maybe I was wrong. Do you have a sample of that one?

yes, it is working very well. I have switched back to my regular ad. It's not the fanciest out there, but is does tell what I do.
