Hi, been messing with this too long, but not 100% sure of my diagnosis of a bad card. The nvidia show a driver problem, client can't play games and only use the intel hd driver. Fine, uninstall both drivers, reinstall the intel first (because the nvida won't install without it) then clean install all the nvida, reboot, nvidia has a problem in DM. Not options in the bios for it at all, tried to update the bios, no go, something about only for notebooks?(double checked the model) So I disabled the intel hd and reinstalled the nvidia and rebooted, it shows its fine, graphics look ok but I open the nvidia control panel and it says "you are not currently using a display attached to a nvidia GPU", so I'm thinking its still not working. anybody dealt with this issue before? Would be so much easier if it were a desktop.
